Since the research I did on examples of double page spreads, I have gotten an idea on the content and how I would want to format my pages.

Since I will be featuring a specific artist, it would be important to include an interview on them. It would take up 2-4 pages depending on the number of images of referenced pieces that I would include for context. This interview would go through his childhood to education to recent events to inspirations and advice. I think the questions would go over a variety of information about the author that the reader would be interested in. This page would be one of the first to introduce the artist. This would reach viewers who love art and are trying to gain similarity, perspective, and advice from professionals.

Something like this example is what I am going for, but a little less text.

I would also like to create a page just on his artwork with small descriptions for viewers to observe. This would satisfy the results from the questionnaire I conducted about including short text and visuals and satisfy audiences who are looking for art to purchase. The artist's information (website, social media, etc.) would be included on the first and last pages through text and a QR code for easy access to see if the artist up for purchase and if so, for how much.

To also satisfy the answers from the questionnaire, I would like to include a double page spread where the reader gets to interact with the magazine. On one page it would be the original artwork of the artist and on the other page it would be a black and white version of it for the reader to color in. This would be included in the end of the magazine as one of the extra closing pages. This page would reach readers who like looking at art and find it as a fun hobby.

This is the question from the questionnaire:
