Like I said in my "Final Magazine Cover" blog, I ran into some issues with the Adobe Photoshop program and decided to use Canvas since it was my second option. Using Canva I was still able to create a cohesive and successful magazine table of contents page.

In my table of contents I wanted to include a layout and details that was easy to read and followed my original plan. To begin, in the "Table of Contents" title, I wanted to connect it between the masthead design so that it is cohesive and matches. I used the same black box style but also incorporated the font from the title into this text. I used the same text from the title into the articles and used the font of the masthead in the page numbers like on the cover. Using these same 2 fonts, I connected the two texts together.

I added a blue and white splatter of paint to fill in the space with a detail that is relevant to the artist since they have a lot of paintings. At first the blue was red, but it looked like blood so I changed it to a color that is consistent with the rest of the pages. There is a gold line under the title because it adds color and flaire to the page that is also consistent through the rest of the pages.

The photo on page 2 is of the artist that I took against a white wall that I originally planned to be in the Q&A page, but got a cool idea putting it here with a quote on the table of contents. It gives you an idea of who the artist is and his idea of art. Instead of using this page just as a list of the articles I also used it as a preface to who Gustavo is and what information and ideas he is providing to the reader.
